Every year Felixstowe Hockey Club support the nationwide campaign of Back To Hockey. We run a series of six free hockey sessions where anyone can attend (please note children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by an adult) – pre covid we had parents and children giving hockey a go together!

You can try just one session or come along to all six, it’s completely upto you.

During these FREE sessions you will be shown all the basic hockey skills and even get to play micro games – so no matter whether this is your first time picking up a hockey stick or it’s the first time in twenty years our sessions are suitable for all ages and abilities.

You’ll need to wear trainers and clothing suitable for exercise (shin pads are recommended – perhaps borrow from a friend?) but we can lend you a stick. These sessions are open to men and women, boys and girls and are absolutely free. At the end of the six weeks you will be given information on how to join our club if you wish to continue with the sport – but there is no pressure to join, just come and join in the fun.
