Annual Awards

In Celebration of the Hockey Season the following awards are made Annually at the End of Season Dinner Dance and Youth Club Day.

Adult

• Club Member of the Year Award
Awarded to a member who goes above and beyond, who embodies Felixstowe Hockey Club and who, off the pitch, goes the extra mile to make sure the club is the best it can be.
• Kyle Donnelly Award
Awarded to a member who shows the true spirit of Felixstowe Hockey Club. This is not an award for hockey skill, but for enthusiasm, passion and attitude and someone who lives for hockey.
• President’s Award
Chosen by the Club's President.
• Youth Development Awards
Two awards for the most improved male and female youth member, this award is for players who has made the leap from youth to senior hockey in the last year – making an impact in the team they are playing in and showing continuous development.
• Young Player of the Year Awards
Two awards for the the current best male and female u -18 player in the club.
• Best Player
Awarded to the Best player of the year in each team – chosen by the Team Captains.
• Team of the Year
Awarded to the FHC team which has achieved the most this season – not necessarily the winning of a league, but which has progressed the most.
• Umpire of the Year
Awarded to the umpire who has had the best season.

Youth

• Harry Martin Award
Awarded to the best outfield player in the Junior section.
• George Pinner Award
Awarded to the best goal keeper in the Junior section.
• Best Player Awards
Awarded to the best player of each youth age group/team.
• Coaches Player Awards
Award to the most improved player of each youth age group/team.
