Training

Training is principly delivered by our Level 2 qualified Head Coach Steve Taylor who is supported as required by other club coaches, asspiring coaches and helpers.

Training runs weekly from September through to late March at Felixstowe Hockey Club on the Felixstowe Academy All Weather Pitch accessed from Maidstone Road.

Adult
Training is on a Tuesday Evenings .

Ladies 1s,2s,3s - 1900 to 2030
Mens 1s,2s,3s - 2000 to 2130

Junior
Training is on a Saturday Morning

U6, U8 and U10 - 0900 to 1000
U12 and U14 - 1000 to 1130

Note:
U6 = Reception and Y1
U8 = Y2 & Y3
U10 = Y4 & Y5
U12 = Y6 & Y7
U14 = Y8 & Y9

Age groups are defined by a childs age on the 31/08. To be elligible for a team a player must match the age threshold by being born on or after the 01/09 of that year unless they hold a EH Dispensation Certificate in respect of the age group in which they are participating.

Age groups should therefore align with School years.

For example:

• I am 10 on the 31/08 - I am considered an U12 player for the season commencing the following 01/09.
• I am 10 on the 01/09 - I am considered an U10 player for this season.
