Congratulations to Phill Larbey – Level 2 Umpire!

All at Felixstowe Hockey Club would like to congratulate Phill Larbey on passing his assessment today and achieving Level 2 in his umpiring journey.

Our Umpire and Coach Development Officer, Matthew Walker, said it was never in doubt that Phill would reach this milestone!

When we caught up with Phill, he was quick to play down his achievement, saying:

"Whilst it’s me today, any umpire at FHC can do this. With our new Umpire Mentoring Programme and two fantastic umpire assessors, the pathway is there for everyone."

This achievement is a brilliant reflection of Phill’s dedication and the supportive environment at FHC that helps umpires develop alongside our players.

Well done Phill – this achievement is an absolute goal-d standard!
