With over four decades of coaching experience, Steve’s journey into coaching was a natural extension of his own playing career. Over the years, he has mentored countless young players, some of whom have gone on to represent club, county, and even country.

Steve has also had the unique joy of coaching his own children, and takes immense pride in helping young players discover their love for hockey! His sessions are not only about developing skills, but also about building confidence, teamwork, and a passion for the game.

This summer, Steve is taking a well earned break, but he’s already looking forward to welcoming the next generation of hockey players (ages 4 - 12) with the first session of the new season starting on 06/09/25.

Steve’s enthusiasm for the sport is infectious, and his message is simple: whether you're young or old, come along and have a go!
