Felixstowe ladies went into the match missing 5 of their core players but the depth of the squad this year still saw a 15 strong team fielded.

IES first pushback was quickly intercepted by the FHC midfield and had ample opportunity to score with several shots going just wide and off the back line. IES went 1 nil up with a deflected goal and the first half ended 1.0.

A few changes at half time saw Felixstowe dominate the first 15 min of the second half but soon went 2.0 down after a dubious short corner goal from IES. Felixstowe struggled with the stop start nature of the game and rarely won a decision. The team pushed ahead trying to play their hockey but in an attempt to get a goal back, unfortunately went 3.0 down.

The scoreline did not reflect the game. Player of the game went to Selina and Lucy for their constant running both on and off the ball.

Felixstowe now have a week off before looking to get back to winning ways.
