The annual IESHC charity day will be held on June 24th at Ipswich School Sports Centre, Rushmere and we would like to invite your club to join us. This hockey event will be suitable for the whole family, and will help raise funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance Charity. The air ambulance provided vital life saving support to a member of our hockey community this year and we want to show our appreciation and gratitude to them.
The mixed hockey festival will run from 11am to approx 5pm. This session is open to all hockey players aged 13 years and over. The format will be full pitch, mixed, with 5 male and 5 female outfield players plus a keeper on the pitch. You will also be asked to umpire your games. If you would like to enter a team/s please let me know. Any volunteers for umpiring are also always welcome ?
There will be other activities for the whole family throughout the day. The clubhouse and bar/cafe will also be open. The exact timings for the festival and events will be confirmed nearer the time. We are hoping to make this our most successful IES Charity Day so far! We would love it if you could join us for part, or all of the day!
